2d Sale for High-Priced Tree Section Home

Posted by Mike Michalski on Monday, July 9th, 2018.

The highest-priced Manhattan Beach Tree section sale for 2017 - 719 19th Street - just recently resold (currently in escrow) and will likely claim that status for 2018 as well if escrow closes.

Last year, this magnificent 6-bedroom, 8-bath American Martyrs home built by premiere builders Zivec and Corbett sold brand new for $6.5 million.  Situated on an oversized corner lot, the home features an open floor plan, 11-foot ceilings and a basement area with walk-in wine cellar and movie theater.

Technically, there was an even higher-priced sale at 825 17th Street in 2017 - a brand new home on an 8,000 sf (50 x 160) lot that traded off-market for $6,550,000.

We hear that the current sale price for 719 19th is in the $6.7 million realm.  This would make that home the 3rd highest sale ever in the Trees, right behind two sales from 2016 - 3305 Pine Avenue, a 5,715 sf home on a double lot that was originally custom-built for soccer star Landon Donovan and last sold for $6,750,000, and 528 15th Street, another luxurious Martyrs home (with an ocean view) from Zivec and Corbett that went for $6.8 million.

In case you're wondering, the median sale price for a Tree section home over the past year was $2,425,000.
