Right before Thanksgiving, we closed escrow on the sale of 2803 McBain Avenue, a nicely remodeled 3-bedroom home on a good-sized 6,381 sqft lot in the North Redondo TRW tract, for $1 million. In this case, we represented the buyer.
The home featured a number of upgrades, including a new galley-style kitchen (pictured below) with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and new cabinets with soft-closing doors and drawers.
The home also has a new roof, new dual-pane windows throughout, and new engineered tongue & groove hardwood floors. And with the unusual heat wave we are currently experiencing over the Thanksgiving holiday, this home's central air conditioning with certainly come in handy for our buyer.
The TRW tract has seen a surge of interest as we approach Christmas, with three other single family homes in that family-friendly neighborhood presently under contract, including-
- 2925 Perkins Lane, a 3-bedroom home listed for $1,150,000 that sold in 11 days,
- 2903 Inglewood Avenue, another 3-bedroom home listed for $999,000 that took a bit longer to sell (192 days) due to its location on a very busy street, and
- 3208 Gibson Place (pictured below), a 4-bedroom, 3560 sqft home on a large 8,991 sqft lot that may have started a little too high at $1,679,000 back in July but has a buyer now that it's priced at $1,549,000.
