East Manhattan Diamond in the Rough

Posted by Mike Michalski on Tuesday, March 26th, 2019.

Our latest listing is a true diamond in the rough.  Originally built in 1948, the house was extensively rebuilt in the mid-70's. Additional square footage, more than doubling the size of the original home, was added in 1996, including a basement.

The current owner had begun a total remodel a few years ago, including a new vaulted open beam ceiling and Loewen windows and patio doors in the family room but the remodel was never completed (no kitchen).  So this home awaits its new owner who can take on the project of finishing the home and adding his/her personal touches.

The living room, which is reminiscent of a cabin in Big Bear, features a dramatic, soaring two-story vaulted ceiling and wood-burning fireplace (one of three total throughout the house).

The home is situated in East Manhattan Beach on a full-size 7500 sqft corner lot in East Manhattan and is being sold "as is."
